The Police service has to look like community it serves and does understand the difference between its citizens Its the community that defeats terrorists and criminals The house of commons rather spend time discussing race relations than dealing with the aftermath of a terrorist attack Wow the book was very captivating Ali is right it does resemble of a spy novel than a factual story I suspect most of the writing has been done by Tim Phiilips Anyway the book is extremelly captivating and a must read for all immigrants to the Great Britain Reminds me of what Michael Moore said in stupid white men 'The white man has done a phenomemal job in creating a wonderful and celan image for himself If you are walking alone in a street and come across two gangs in your path one white and the other black you automatically gravitate towards the white gang for self protection'

Chilling account of what can happen when colleagues envyhate you and you're of a different background it's far worse here as it happened to a top cop in Britain An amazing smear machine started from within the Police corps to stop the rise of a skilled policeman from Iranian background

The book's title Not one of us at first glance as an individual who has grown in the homeland with an Iranian nationality conveys a totally discriminatory and conspiratorial narrative with a terrible end however author's unintentional master message is very hearty for the reader; the Utopia in which a stubborn and hidden wisdom guarantees the existence of a system that gains all the human rights of each individual in the society that is also in the most discriminatory conditions exactly the wisdom that is rare and also regarded one loop is missing to a developing societies such as Iran in where feels a lack of an efficient system for claiming human rights specially in the similar cases
