This is a collection of sixteen graphic zombie stories from assorted writers and artists with varying levels of success I preferred some of the shorter pieces in this collection If You re So Smart is cute and has a nice punch, as is Daddy Smells Different though I didn t care for the art , and Memento Mori Sanctuary was good with excellent art , and I also enjoyed People Person and The War at Home, which was written by Joe R Lansdale I, Zombie suffered from having different artists so the This is a collection of sixteen graphic zombie stories from assorted writers and artists with varying levels of success I preferred some of the shorter pieces in this collection If You re So Smart is cute and has a nice punch, as is Daddy Smells Different though I didn t care for the art , and Memento Mori Sanctuary was good with excellent art , and I also enjoyed People Person and The War at Home, which was written by Joe R Lansdale I, Zombie suffered from having different artists so there was no continuity Zaambi was a story I recognized as mostly good but I didn t like it at all one of those unexplainable things My favorite was a story called 5 Stars, which I swear reproduces conversations I ve had almost exactly It was remarkable and lots of fun in a mostly pleasant but not especially memorable book

Stories are of varying quality but the level of artwork is consistently good with a nice assortment of styles A lot of bang for the buck in this omnibus with my personal favorite being the 4 chapter run of Zaambi chronicling Samurai vs Zobmies with some interesting twists.

Better than Boom s similar Cthulhu Tales books, but still repetitive Saved by several longer andimaginative tales and a greater variety of story types About half good, half immediately forgettable.
