This was a really interesting story and I learned something from it which always appeals to me The premise is kind of amusing in an uncomfortable way an unemployed history professor who is Jewish accepts a teaching position in small town South Dakota Renting the house next door to his department chair the two young sons become friends After young Abraham accepts Jesus his family is outraged and promptly send him to his uncle's in Brooklyn to be straightened out But when the deprogrammer arrives Abe heals the injury he sustained in an accident and then heals his young cousin of MS and his uncle's family accepts Christ also An interesting exploration of Messianic Judaism

This is a truly wonderful book I loved it The book shows the attitudes and misconceptions of both Christians and Jews all woven into an easy to read totally enjoyable story Whether you are Jewish or Christian there is something to be learned in this book

Makes you thinkI enjoyed the story of the two main characters I like the way the author challenges readers to seek God as the foundation of their theological beliefs instead of man The writing could be improved with stronger POV but the lessons and story earn it 4 stars
