As the daughter of a world renowned director and movie vixen mother Veronica Romero’s lineage is of Hollywood royalty However her success as one of Hollywood’s leading ladies is entirely her own Her reputation as a screen siren is reinforced by her immense talent and onscreen presence With her latest performance putting her in line to win an Oscar she fiercely tries to hold on to the privacy she is famously known for True Crime novelist Ian Sharpe has spent his life researching the minds of the depraved Part of his latest project includes an in depth interview with Veronica about her role as the infamous murderess “Belladonna” There is an immediate power struggle that takes place as they both vie for control Veronica has no issue wielding her sex appeal as both armor and a weapon to deflect and distract but much to her grievance Ian is unwilling to yield  The relationship between them was highly addictive reading I was totally engrossed by the pushpull constant one upmanship that harboured the explosive chemistry simmering below the surface It's only as Ian begins to lower her defences that the attention grabbing dark and sinister subplot is revealed With Lovegame Tracy Wolff delivers an instantly alluring potently suspenseful erotic read I was taken aback by how deeply I revelled in the story and the intensity of the emotions garnered Maybe because I could have happily continued on reading did I feel the last 10% was slightly rushed The epilogue however was wonderful and easily allied any complaints I may of otherwise have had

Veronica Romero has everything to the outside world Daughter of one of Hollywood’s most renowned couple this has always been her universe and with the best from both her parents – her mother’s beauty and her father’s talent – she has secure her own role as the world’s top leading actressShe might be pale but the look she gives me is pure unadulterated Veronica Part Disney villain and part Jessica Rabbit it’s sultry and defiant and a little bit of fuck you all wrapped up in a solid punch to the dickWhat no one knows is all the secrets and pain she keeps so well locked behind her sex vixen facade That is until a certain writer enters her life and sees so much than any of them anticipatedIan Sharpe is an ex FBI profiler and currently a True Crime writer He comes to Veronica’s life with the pretext of an exclusive and particular interview with her regarding the role of her life as the murderess ‘Belladona’ that she has just now finished filming A movie based on the best seller book written by Ian and the perfect cluefor him to get close enough to Veronica since she may hold the only clue on his current project a book on a serial killer That is his ending goal and obsession in life to unravel the mind of a killer What neither of them had anticipated was the primal attraction and reaction they had with one another from their very first meeting and they had no chance to fight it even though they sure tried They both brought to light needs and personality traits they never had before and with anyone elseIan who prides himself of always being in control of the situation is shocked with the über dominant nature that Veronica brings to life in him Which is the perfect contra balance for the her undiscovered needs Her submission to Ian comes just as much as a surprise to her as his dominance came to him And then his mouth is on mine and I forget anything—everything—that I was going to say Instead I just sink into it Sink into him And he lets me More he demands it of meVeronica was such a strong and incredible character that is no wonder why Ian felt so draw to her She has been fighting so many demons and this latest role affected her so much than she was expecting But Ian helps her forget in the most delicious waysIan was such an incredible and delicious character He is not without his own demons but his inuisitive mind wants to find out what Veronica is hiding behind this well constructed facade to find out what makes her tick Without giving anything away I’ll just say he ends up discovering so much than he bargained even about himself She still looks beautiful of course she does but it’s a broken kind of beauty Haunted Fragile Shattered And still I want her Still I want to bury myself so deeply inside of her that she’ll never get me outVeronica truly becomes his very own obsession and the he gets closer to her and sees behind her siren front the he wants her More than he ever wanted anything elseThis was such an incredibly enthralling story I devoured it in one sitting Yes it take a bit to develop given its slow paced start but after a bit it gets you completely hooked with it’s suspense And have to doubt for me it was an erotic psychological thriller at his best I love Tracy Wolff’s writing and this book was no exception the intensity of the characters the emotional turmoil were key to this perfectly constructed tale My curious mind was just has committed has Ian’s to find out all the hidden secrets and the result did not disappoint Another of the ‘stand out’ aspects was the unmeasurable chemistry between the main couple You could truly feel they magnetism while reading as if something palpable so much so that the sexual tension was knife cutting and translated in some wicked sexy and HOT sex scenes Definitely one of the highlights of the book The thriller and dark aspect only enhanced them making them memorable and eroticLovegame was an emotional roller coaster ride that I will not soon forget Ian and Veronica’s love story will make you go through every feeling in the spectrum but in the end you will be grateful for that journey and the amazing epilogue guarantees you finishing with a smile on your face and an happy feeling in your heart“You sure you want me to be your happy ending?” “You’re already my happy ending Veronica I want you to be my everything” ARC kindly provided by the author via Give Me Books in exchange for an honest review For complete review with Release Blitz check out my blog posthttpgisspotreviewscomindexphp2

Steamy romantic suspense read with complex characters and lengthy inner monologues A Hollywood starlet and a journalist play an erotic game of push and pull in this story Liked it but didn't love it The male lead character should've groveled at the end and the lead female character was a bit pretentious Overall an okay treat

An intense amazing read The first things I said when I finished this book was DamnThis book is a work of art It is complex entertaining twisted depraved tender loving and touching It takes your emotions from high to low and punches your gut around a few times or twoThis is a psychological suspense thriller in many ways but it's also a romance with a touch of erotica too One that builds up from the beginning to a high emotional level then actually had me wiping away a few tears towards the end just from the emotion and pain the characters feel The ending almost leaves you hanging and then you were let down softly and brought into a beautiful happy ever afterThe author takes a complex story with deep insight into the human psyche and gives us a truly amazing story that you have to experience to believe She knows how to get into the heads of people not only her characters but also her readersThis author has thoroughly given me a book hangover but one I'm savoring until I can get the next book from her

ARC kindly provided by the publisher Random House Publishing Group Loveswept via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review Veronica Betrayal Lots of betrayal by people who are supposed to be there for you at a very young age Will you ever manage to live a normal life after all that What if the man for which you start to get feelings strong feelings who makes you feel great betrays you too? Can you handle that final blow?Ian The need to prove to yourself that you are not like him You’re different Will you find out in time or will your uest hurt the one woman you want?I loved this well written romance with a side of thriller I could feel their chemistry right from the start and love both main characters Until almost the end I had no clue who the ‘bad guy’ was so I was really surprised Something I’m not very fond of is insta love but it didn’t feel that wrong in this bookI also read The first book of the Ethan Frost series by this author and loved it This story with a bumpy road was my second and I look forward to read This book gets 35 stars

4 so many shades of fucked up and I LOVED it stars Veronica and Ian were something interesting to behold and I was all about it Ian saw through Veronica's shield and really got her on a level no other being reached The twists and turns create some confusion to the reader so it isn't a one two three and I got it type of read which I loved and something Tracy Wolff can really pull off I've been reading Wolff for some time and I'm a loyal reader forever and always Veronica has been in the spotlight since she could remember with famous parents and then moving into Hollywood herself It isn't just her actress status that makes Veronica famous and well known no it's how absolutely gorgeous she is Veronica literally oozes sensuality and she uses it like a weapon Until she met Ian she never really enjoyed or even felt during sex so that should tell you something Ian is a journalist which means he's part spy part psychologist and part fantastic writer He's perceptive nosy and beyond attracted to Veronica For him however it isn't just attraction to her physical beauty but also the vulnerability and person that is hidden beneath the facade she wears around Ian does his part to shield Veronica to help her and to open her up to a passion that she never thought she'd get

All dressed up with nowhere to go but crazy Tracy Wolff is one of those authors that needs to be on everyone's 'auto click' shelf She will definitely fog up your kindle screen with her sexy love scenes She turned it up a notch with Lovegame fanning self Ian is a character that had my attention from the beginning I find his career choice very fascinating I confess that I do some 'armchair profiling' myself while watching Criminal Minds Well at least I pay attention when Shemar's not on screen Okay I admit it When Ian says Baby I might have been imagining Shemar saying Baby Girl What can I say? The book cover didn't show me how Ian looked so I let my imagination fill in the blanks wink winkVeronica is broken but she wears a hard shell to cover it She just puts on her mask and faces the crowd never letting them see beyond her movie star smile and perfect body She stars in the fantasies of just about every man that looks at her and she knows it While she might have some insecurities hidden away behind her fake smile her sex appeal is not one of them Every time she leaves her house it's a red carpet performance She's managed to fool everyone until him Ian has the ability to see beyond what others choose to show the world He's made a point of learning how to read people and to pull their secrets from them He fully intends to learn Veronica's secrets whether she's willing to divulge them or not He knows she's beautiful he's seen her onscreen But when he sees her in persongame over What he saw behind her mask touched him He was mentally asking himself How can I possibly ask her to take off the armor and show me her scars? He was drawn to her like a magnet to metal When she tried to play him with her 'skills' he turned the tables on her Then he put her on the table That's a scene you might want to bookmark and read a time or twentyThe chemistry between Ian and Veronica is explosive but is it enough? They are both damaged They both have secrets that hide in the dark corners of their minds They have learned the hard way not to trust people Will they take a chance on each other? Are they willing to play the Lovegame?

Leigh and Slick's reviews are posted at Guilty Pleasures Book ReviewsLeigh's 4 star reviewIt took me a few chapters to really get into this book but boy am I glad I stuck with it While it started out confusing with some writing tics that I found distracting these things uickly fell by the wayside and turned into a story that gripped me and held me until the endVeronica Romero was a strange one for me It took me a while to get to like her but once we understood her the life she led and the things she had gone through in the past it was difficult not to respect her She was a woman that had taken control of her own destiny in a town and career that sought to eat her alive and it was fascinating to see the way her mind worked behind the persona she put forth to the public She was an enigma and I enjoyed the verbal sparring and sexual tension between her and IanIan was the perfect match for Veronica He was direct and level while she was coy and calculating He was cool and collected while she was fiery But together they were perfect He was the dominant man while she was the surprisingly submissive partner who never realized what she needed out of a loverThe one thing I will say that I felt a bit cheated on though was a better grasp on Ian from a relationship perspective We found out what motivated him in his career what scared him and why he was the person he had become I loved that But on a simpler level I wanted to know mundane things about him I wanted to know what he looked like I wanted to know what his past romantic relationships were Where did a man one that seemed to read a woman’s wants and needs so well hone these skills? But aside from having to imagine these answers I have no complaints about the story I enjoyed the suspense I loved the instant and overwhelming attraction and the passion that burned between these two I loved the dominantsubmissive dynamic And most importantly I loved that everything was tied up for me in a nice little package I’m a sucker for epilogues and I want to know what goes on in the lives of these people that I have grown to enjoy even after the curtain has gone down Ms Wolff did not disappoint with such a suspenseful and erotic readSlick's 3 star reviewSo this is a hard review for me to write Let me first say that I have always been a big fan of Tracy Wolff's work and Lovegame is expertly written and although it does have a HEA ending this book was far from what I would call a romance which is why I felt somewhat duped Part psychological thriller part erotica part suspenseful and part many shades of fcked up Lovegame was a good book but it is not for the faint of heart Am I sorry I read it? In some ways yes but in others noAn ex FBI profiler turned author and a Hollywood starlet meet when she stars in an adaptation of one of his most famous books With his background Ian Sharpe immediately begins to see the real Veronica Romero not the one she shares with the world This of course freaks Veronica out and their relationship and I used that term loosely especially at first is very tumultuous Lovegame is filled with many many rough BDSMish type sexual encounter which leaves both Ian and Veronica very raw and unsure of what is happening to them both In addition the role that Veronica played did a number on her psyche and she is having trouble moving past it add in her very strange relationship with her mother and the fact that he entire life has been one big mess and well you get one very compelling and hard to put down storyThere is no doubt I felt many emotions reading this book from horror to hate to sadness to grief and even a bit of happiness but this book wore on me I had a hard time reading it and I found myself having to put it down and do something else to cleanse my soul before moving on Days after I finished I was still thinking about it and had to talk it out with my husband yes friends this is not a pretty story and it left me feeling very raw and overwhelmedI must address again that Lovegame was incredibly well thought out and well written and had it been billed as a psychological thriller or even women's literature I most likely wouldn't have read it but since it was labeled a romance which in all honesty I still feel it was not despite the HEA I did and as a romance this book was a big disappointmentReview copies provided for an honest review

Lovegame generously provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review4 I think I'm losing my mind StarsErotic suspense featuring a movie star and a true crime novelist? Yes please A stand alone told from the dual points of view of both hero and heroine? Sign me up Tracy Wolff continually entertains me with her romance stories Lovegame is something just a little different than the others of hers I've read A true cat and mouse game of two people dodging evading and hiding truths they'd leave covered It's a story packed with passion and edge gripping you from beginning to end Wolff's writing keeps you guessing throughout the entire book The characters are as charismatic as they are enigmatic Interesting layers of mentally thrilling prose are woven between the pages of a non stop plot where nothing is ever as it seems Ian Sharpe is a hero I adored He's alpha determined and witty His proclivity for intelligent banter and sharp game playing attracts readers to this hero His match movie star Veronica Romero keeps herself hidden behind shadows even as she puts herself out there for the whole world to see Their chemistry is off the charts hot as a battle of wills ensues The games of seduction passion and sex are just as emotional and mental as they are physical between these two making for an excellent book to lose yourself in fully There were a few chapters in the first 25% of the book where I felt the author was being repetitive with inner dialogue from both characters Digressing too much into the same reasons behind their actions or hesitations about the chaos surrounding them It was a distraction for me because I ended up inside my own head thinking about how I wished it was get deeper into the issues they were talking about However by the middle Wolff got me there and definitely showed me the depth of both Ian and Veronia in a truly vulnerable way making the book really work for me I loved the dark side of stardom Wolff chose to explore with these characters and really how she chose to navigate the exploration She works the plot by precisely matching the darkness they each hide to the driving force of the book With the added gift of intelligent dialogue and witty conversation this book is hard not find alluring Erotic suspense lovers will find Lovegame right up their alleys Wolff always creates enticing journey's for her characters to entertain her readers And there's an amazing epilogue which I love As I said above I'm constantly so satisfied after reading the words of this author and appreciate the ease for which she so easily holds me captive with her characters This is a book I won't soon forget and I appreciate the chance I was given to read it I look forward to much erotic suspense from Tracy Wolff
